A series of experiments has been performed on the (SACHPD) system to evaluate the<br />

performance. The performance of the system has been investigated experimentally for<br />

different environment climate conditions. Two representative days for clear <strong>and</strong> cloudy<br />

conditions were presented (Ibrahim et al., 2009b). The maximum values of the solar<br />

fraction (SF) <strong>and</strong> the coefficient of performance of chemical heat pump (COP h ) of the<br />

system are 0.713 <strong>and</strong> 2 on a clear day, against the maximum values of 0.322 <strong>and</strong> 1.42 on<br />

a cloudy day. The total system energy output of 51 kWh <strong>and</strong> 25 kWh were obtained for<br />

clear <strong>and</strong> cloudy days, over 9 hours drying time. Figure 6.12 show the system solar fraction<br />

while Figure 6.13 shows the coefficient of performance of chemical heat pump.<br />
