Sample Preparation Methods for Drugs of Abuse<br />
A series of well defined protocols using industry standard 130 mg ISOLUTE Confirm HCX columns is available.<br />
Based on extraction of 5 mL urine samples, high recoveries (> 90%) of all the main DOA classes are ensured.<br />
Extracts are suitable for TLC screening and GC-MS confirmation at the NIDA specified cut-off levels.<br />

Simplified Single Column Methodology for Automated Drugs<br />
of Abuse Testing<br />
Based on the robust chemistry of ISOLUTE Confirm HCX, Biotage has developed a simple, single column<br />
approach that can be used for the extraction of all NIDA-5 (SAMHSA-5) drugs of abuse classes. The SPE<br />
methodology, designed for use with the Caliper LifeSciences RapidTrace uses only eight solvents in total.<br />
