This release of <strong>Caché</strong> currently uses the following defaults for the installation directory:<br />

UNIX-based<br />
OpenVMS<br />
Directory<br />
C:\<strong>InterSystems</strong>\Cache (or CacheN when multiple instances exist)<br />
/usr/cachesys<br />

Throughout the documentation this install directory is referred to as install-dir.<br />
