possible mechanism which<br />
could explain <strong>the</strong> depositi<strong>on</strong>al<br />
unc<strong>on</strong>formity could be that <strong>the</strong><br />
pool <strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> edge of which <strong>the</strong><br />
tilted laminas were deposited<br />
was suddenly filled with debris<br />
during a seismic event. This<br />
could have caused <strong>the</strong><br />
subsequent laminae to be<br />
deposited horiz<strong>on</strong>tally.<br />
