Permit Required
Parking on campus is by permit only. Any motorized vehicle
requiring registration with the California Department of Motor
Vehicles must have a current parking permit affixed to the
left rear driver’s side bumper or hung, in clear view, from the
interior rear view mirror. Static cling decal must be applied to
the inside lower left hand corner of the front window clearly
visible with all numbers displayed. Motorcycles and mopeds
will have the permit affixed to the left front fork. Cars without
permits properly displayed will be cited. Vehicles may park
only in spaces designated for vehicle parking. THE PURCHASE
OF A PARKING PERMIT DOES NOT GUARANTEE A PARKING
SPACE ON CAMPUS.
Parking permits may be purchased on-line by Credit Card at
www.gwcpermit.com. You will be asked to enter where you
would like to have the permit mailed as well as information
about your vehicle. Upon confirmation of payment, you will be
given the option to print a “temporary” permit until your official
parking permit arrives in the mail. To contact Public Safety, call

Daily parking permits can be purchased from the yellow
permit dispenser machines located in each parking lot. Hourly
parking is available at meters in the Edinger and Golden West
parking lots.

Parking Areas
Designated parking areas are color coded:
Yellow — Faculty and Staff — Staff permit required.
Blue — Handicapped — DMV permit required.
White Grid — Motorcycles only — permit required.
Unmarked white stalls — Open for permit parking. One stall
per vehicle.
All designated permit parking areas will be enforced Monday
through Thursday 8 am to 10 pm and Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
