A 55/28 km/h 90° Moving Deformable Barrier NCAP Side Impact Test was<br />

conducted on the subject 201X Ace Super 4-door sedan in accordance with the<br />

specifications of the Office of Crashworthiness Standards Test Procedure for the<br />

generation of consumer information on vehicle side crash protection. The test<br />

was conducted at the ABC Laboratories facility in Detroit, Michigan on November<br />

15, 20XX.<br />

The impact velocity of the Moving Deformable Barrier (MDB) was 61.90 km/h,<br />

and the ambient temperature at the struck (driver’s) side of the target vehicle at<br />

the time of impact was 28°C. The target vehicle post test maximum crush was<br />

250 mm at level 3. The test vehicle’s performance was as follows:<br />

The two doors on the struck side of the vehicle did not separate from the body at<br />

the hinges or latches and the opposite doors did not open during the side impact<br />
