the committee on Traveling Fund and Absences and all
requests for absences be handled by this committee, instead
of by Synod,' and that this committee be given the
power to enforce the following rule: 'Any delegate who
misses more than two sessions of Synod be granted traveling
expenses proportional to his attendance at Synod except
in cases of necessary absence due to an unexpected call
from his family or congregation.' "
5. That Mr. William Haessly of the Citizen's National Bank
of Beaver Falls, Pa., be sent a letter of appreciation by the Clerk
of Synod for extending the courtesy of cashing this year's Traveling
Fund check.

The report of the Committee on Arrangements was read,
adopted and is as foUows:
REPORT OF COMMITTEE ON ARRANGEMENTS FOR SYNOD
The Committee on Arrangements for Synod has tried to carry
out its assignments as assigned by the Clerk of Synod.
Arrangements were made with Geneva College for Board and
Room accomodations for all delegates desiring such. Also, arrangements
were made through the Business Office for the typing
and mimeographing of all Synod reports and materials.
The Mission hour for Sabbath afternoon was committed to the
Corresponding Secretary of the Foreign Mission Board, Rev.
Charles Sterrett. The Rev. Dr. D. H. Walters, President of the
Reformed Bible Institute of Grand Rapids, Michigan was brought
for the Sabbath evening service.
The two offerings of Synod, Sabbath evening and Tuesday
morning, amounted to $145.15 and $150.00 respectively. Transportation
to and from planes and trains has been furnished when
requested by those so traveling.
The total expense of the committee was $262.39.
We recommend that it be paid from the offerings of Synod.
