The Aud* of the fonner Jewish Mission Board were ordered
held in reserve io anticipation of the starting of new work in some
other fields.
Synod adjourned in prayer by James Hartin.
TUESDAY, JUNE 13, 1961
Synod met pursuant to adjournment, sang from Psalm 67, and
was constituted in prayer by Harold F. Thompson.
The roll was called.
Following the devotional service, tbe minutes of the previous
session were read and approved.
By special resolution, Synod declared that the present Cyprus
Commission should be reappointed until Jan. 1, 1962 when autonomy
wUl be granted to the Armenian Congregations, after which
the Commission is to be dissolved. C. S. Sterrett led the Court in
prayer dissolving the Cyprus Commission as of Jan. 1, 1962.
An offering to defray the expenses of Synod was taken which
amounted to $190. The offering oo Sabbath evening amounted
to $145.
The report of the Board of Trustees of Geneva College, the
order of the day, was read by Miss Ethel M. Lytle, secretary
of the Board. Dr. E. C. Clarke, president of the coUege, was
heard in behalf of the college. The report as a whole was adopted
and Is as follows:

We wish to express our gratitude to Almighty God for the many
blessings He has sent during the past year. Only in His power can
Geneva College be effective in her mission.
We held our regularly scheduled meetings on July 28 and October
27, I960 and on January 26, March 23 and May 25, 1961.
Much progress has been made during the year. Dr. Edwin C.
Clarke, President of the College, submitted his comprehensive Annual
Report of the year's accomplishments at the May meeting. He
has traveled much this year. On trips to the East and to the West
