FORM OF BEQUEST
I do bequeath to the Trustees of the Synod of the Reformed
Presbyterian Church of North America
dollars
to be credited to the current account* of the following funds:
I do give and bequeath to the Trustees of the Synod of the
Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America, its successors
and assigns forever, all that certain piece of land situated in. . .
the proceeds from the same to be devoted to the current account
of the following funds:
• If one wishes, he may insert the word "Endowment" or still
better, "Funds functioning as Endowment", in place of "Current
Accounts." There are usually special needs in current account.
Or, after stating the sum of money or describing the real estate,
he may leave out any mention of particular funds and say, "To be
distributed according to the judgment of Synod", which would allow
assignment to the needs at the time the bequest is received.
That would be the best of all. In case of large gifts, they may be
paid in installments.
Special Note: A will should be witnessed by at least three
persons, all of whom see the signing of the one making the will
and by each other. In case of doubt, secure the legal advice.
