1. Press Menu.<br />

2. Press Program Button (Prog).<br />

3. Press Blank button you wish to program.<br />

4. Enter number and the # to complete.<br />

SoftkEYS<br />

In the display at the top of the phone.<br />

1. Press Menu button.<br />

2. Press Prog (Program Button). (You may have to press<br />

the Next button to locate Prog button).<br />

3. Press Menu button again.<br />

4. Press AD Button you wish to program. (You may have<br />

to press the Next button to locate the AD’s.)<br />

5. Change number: (1) Yes (2) No<br />

6. Enter response: 1 or 2<br />

7. Dial the telephone number you wish to store. .(Include<br />

99 or 98 if it’s an outside number.)<br />

8. Press # to confirm.<br />

9. Enter label: (1) Yes (2) No<br />

10. Spell out label on Dial pad up to 5 characters. (Pressing<br />

the dial pad key enters the first letter on the key. Continue<br />

to press the key until the character you want<br />

appears. If the next letter you want appears on the<br />

same key, press * to advance to next space.)<br />

11. Press # to confirm. Hang up.<br />

VOICE FEaturES<br />

Abbreviated Dialing (AD): Allows you to store selected<br />

telephone numbers for quick, easier dialing.<br />

Button View: (btn-view) Allows you to see what is programmed<br />

behind a button. Press btn-view then press<br />

desired call appearance.<br />

Call Pickup: Allows you to answer a specified person’s<br />

call at your telephone for another person (Programmable<br />

by System Administrator Only).<br />

Conference: Allows you to add parties to a call, so that<br />

you may conduct a 6-way conversation on a multiappearance<br />

telephone or a 3-way conversation on a single-line<br />

telephone.<br />

<strong>Directory</strong>: This is a telephone directory of all the associates<br />

programmed in your telephone switch at your location.<br />

Call-Display will dial the number.<br />

Drop: Disconnects from a call without requiring you to<br />

hang up the handset or press the switchhook. You will hear<br />

dial tone again after pressing this button. This feature can<br />

also be used to disconnect the last party added to a conference<br />

call.<br />

Program: Program button can be used to program<br />

AD button.<br />

Send Calls: Temporarily sends all your calls to your first<br />

point of coverage when you will be away from your desk<br />

for a while, or when you do not wish to be interrupted by<br />

telephone calls. Your first point of coverage is where your<br />

calls go FIRST when you do not answer.<br />

Transfer: Transfer a call from your telephone to another<br />

extension.<br />

Domestic Long Distance Calls: Dial 98 + area code +<br />

rest of number + 4 digit account # (XXXX)<br />

International Long Distance Calls: Dial 98 + country<br />

Toll Free: Dial 99 + 1-800 + rest of number<br />

Dsn: Dial 94 + seven digit number<br />

DSN International: Dial 94 + country code + rest<br />
