bilimsel eserlerde, makalelerde veya kitaplarda Kültepe
en önemli yeri tutar. Kültepe’yi zikretmeden, Kültepe’yi
referans göstermeden böyle bir eser yazmanızın imkanı
yoktur. Dahası, aynı durum, tüm Önasya arkeolojisi, yani
Mezopotamya ve Suriye gibi önemli uygarlıkların yaşadığı
yerler için de geçerlidir. Kültepe’siz Önasya arkeolojisi
olmaz.
Kültepe’de şimdiye kadar keşfedilen onbinlerce çivi
yazılı tablet ve arkeolojik buluntular Ankara Anadolu
Medeniyetleri Müzesi, Kayseri Müzesi ve kısmen de İstanbul
Arkeoloji Müzeleri’nde sergilenmekte. Ayrıca, az da olsa
çeşitli dünya müzelerinde de, 19., 20. yüzyıllarda çıkarılmış
eserler bulunuyor. Tabii ki, sergide olanlar, buluntuların
çok çok az bir kısmıdır. Maalesef, eserlerimizin büyük bir
kısmı müzelerin depolarında, tekrar gün ışığına çıkacakları
günü beklemekte. Sadece Kültepe’de keşfedilmiş eserler ile
en az 10 tane müze kurabilirsiniz. Dahası sadece bulunan
tabletler ile bir o kadar müze kurabilirsiniz. Zaten en büyük
hedeflerimden birisi bir tablet müzesi kurabilmek. Dünyada
böyle bir müze yok.
Yeryüzüne çıkardığınız eserlerin ortaya konduğu 4 bin yıl
öncesinin kültür iklimini özetler misiniz Kanişliler nasıl
yaşardı Nelere inanırdı
Kültepe’nin önemini vurgulayan en özel buluntular,
bizim ‘Asur Ticaret Kolonileri Çağı’ dediğimiz ve kabaca
günümüzden 4 bin yıl öncesine tarihlenen yerleşim
tabakalarından gelmekte. Demin bahsettiğim gibi bu
buluntuların en önemlileri çivi yazılı tabletlerdir. Bu çivi
yazılı tabletlerin büyük bir çoğunluğu ekonomik içerikli;
Syrian civilizations and their habitats. There cannot be a
Central Asia without Kültepe. The findings and Cuneiform
script tablets can be found at the Anatolian Civilizations
Museum in Ankara, Kayseri Museum and some are at the
Istanbul Archeological Museum.
With the findings at Kültepe alone you can open 10 museums.
And our most important goal is to open a tablet museum.
There is no tablet museum anywhere in the world. And it is a
waste to let these tablets rot in the storage of museums.
Could you summarize the cultural climate of the period
to which these artifacts belong to How did the Kaniş’s
live What did they believe in
The special findings, which state the importance of Kültepe
are from the ‘Assyrian Commercial Colonial Era’ and the
inhabitants living there that date back 4 thousand years.
The most important of the findings are the Cuneiform script
tablets. We can find out about that époque in Anatolia from
these tablets.
Most of these tablets include financial data but this data
gives us insight into the day-to-day lives of the people from
that period. Divorce and alimony problems and such decisions
were engraved on these tablets, thus giving us insight on the
financial and social data of the Kaniş’s.
There are lots of books, information and data on how the
Kaniş’s lived. Kültepe was a metropolitan city of that period.
There were at least 50 thousand people living there. If you
come to think that the world population was only a couple
of million people then its grandeur would be more apparent.
Kültepe is one of the biggest cities in Anatolia and Central
Asia. The inhabitants are also just as rich, developed and
colorful. Not only did the local Kaniş people live there but
also people from different parts of Anatolia lived there as well.
We could compare it to the Istanbul of today. It is also a city
where mixed marriages happened with tradesmen from Syria
and Mesopotamia, who came for commerce, got married and
settled.
It is not only a civilization where local languages such as
Anlayabildiğimiz kadarıyla yapının henüz çeyreğini
kazmış durumdayız. Bu ölçülerde bir yapı
şimdiye kadar Anadolu’da açığa çıkarılmadı.
Aslında, o çağda benzer ölçülerde bir yapı
Anadolu’nun dışında da yok.
