How to use this filter?
1. Open an image;
2. Apply FiltersRenderLine Nova command. Once the Script-Fu: Line Nova
dialog box opens set the parameters
Number of lines – set the number of star rays;
Sharpness (degrees) – determine the value affecting the area which is under
filter effect, i.e. the shape. By setting the values from 0 to 1, the filter covers a
full image. When the values are set above 1, only the central area of the image
is seen after the filter is used;
Randomness – the starting point for each ray is selected randomly according to
the value chosen;
3. Once all parameters are set, press OK;
TASK. Open image nova.jpg and apply the Line nova filter to it, where the number of
lines equals to 100, sharpness – 0.7, offset radius – 300, randomness value – 1.

2. Apply FiltersRenderLine Nova command. It opens the Script-Fu: Line Nova
dialog box
3. Set the following parameters:
Number of lines – 100;
Sharpness (degrees) – 0.5;
Offset radius – 300;
Randomness – 1;
4. Press OK;
