There are several ways how to make a thing, animal or human being stand out from the
group. Let's analyse the way how the selected object is placed to the centre of attention
irrespective of where it is located.
You can distinguish an object from the group using the Motion Blur filter.
1. Apply FileOpen command to open file urchin.jpg;
2. Select the filter through FiltersBlurMotion Blur.
3. Once the Motion Blur dialog opens, adjust the following settings:
3.1. In the Blur Type group-box control, select the radio button Zoom. The user will
now focus his attention on the area of the image that is not blurred;
3.2. Set the Blur Center X and Y coordinates to 1350 and 1500 respectively. We
have now adjusted the coordinates of the central blurred area; they have to
correspond with the object which has to be the focus of attention. When
setting the coordinates, we may use the preview window for orientation. We
need to try to keep the object that must be the focus of attention unblurred;
