Each Hybrid 8 Digital + 8 Analogue extension module provides eight (8) separate digital and
analogue extension interfaces . The extension modules can only be installed in Slots 4 and 5 of
the system as shown above.
Slot 4 provides digital extension interfaces for ports numbered PT17 – PT24 on the MDF
Slot 4 provides analogue extension interfaces for ports numbered PT25 – PT32 on the MDF
Slot 5 provides digital extension interfaces for ports numbered PT33 – PT40 on the MDF
Slot 5 provides analogue extension interfaces for ports numbered PT41 – PT48 on the MDF
To install the Hybrid (8 Digital + 8 Analogue) Extension Module:
1. Ensure the System is powered down.
2. Press the sliding plate to the down position and remove the Plastic Slot cover for that slot.
3. Align the Module into the designated slot, pushing firmly until the module is fully inserted.
4. Return the sliding plate to the up position thereby securing the Module into place.
On powering up the system the top LED on the Module will light indicating that the system has
successfully interfaced with it.
