Doña Ana Community College offers all of our students opportunities to fulfill
their educational goals. As a comprehensive community college, DACC is

Most students attend college to develop or advance their career. Students enroll
in courses to upgrade job skills, pursue an associate’s degree or certificate, or
prepare for further academic studies. Career programs through our Business and
Information Systems, Health and Public Services, and Technical and Industrial
Studies instructional divisions enable students to meet their goals. Students gain
technical skills required for twenty-first century jobs that have the benefits of
good incomes, challenging work, and opportunities for advancement.
The DACC faculty and staff share a strong commitment to providing access to
higher education in our community. Classes meet at all times of the day, and
we have established education centers throughout the county. Hands-on training
in the laboratory and on-the-job training in the field are part of our career
programs. Support services such as skill assessments, financial aid, tutoring,
and job placement are available to students.
The community college supports many other educational goals, as well:
• Through our Adult Basic Education program, citizens can earn a general
equivalency diploma (GED).
• Courses in General Studies help students acquire the skills, knowledge and
attitudes necessary for college success.
• Personal enrichment is the goal of short courses offered through our Community
Education program.
• The Customized Training program provides educational offerings tailored
to meet the needs of employees of local businesses.
• The Small Business Development Center offers guidance to prospective
and current small business owners and managers.
