Exhibit 7-34 details caseloads for the county <strong>and</strong> district clerks’ <strong>of</strong>fices for 2004.<br />

The year saw a relatively stable level <strong>of</strong> case submissions <strong>and</strong> dispositions each month<br />

for both <strong>of</strong>fices; the county clerk’s <strong>of</strong>fice processed an average <strong>of</strong> 831 new cases each<br />

month, while the district clerk’s <strong>of</strong>fice processed an average 1,538 new cases. The<br />

county clerk’s <strong>of</strong>fice processed or disposed <strong>of</strong> an average <strong>of</strong> 906 older cases per month;<br />

the district clerk’s <strong>of</strong>fice processed or disposed <strong>of</strong> an average <strong>of</strong> 1,523. (Note that the<br />

case load for the county clerk’s <strong>of</strong>fice does not include probate cases, which are not<br />

included in the Office <strong>of</strong> Court Administration’s data. However, the county clerk’s <strong>of</strong>fice<br />

processed a total <strong>of</strong> 2,386 probates cases in 2004. If probate cases are included, the<br />

county clerk’s <strong>of</strong>fice processed an average <strong>of</strong> 1,030 cases per month.)<br />

In all, the county clerk’s <strong>of</strong>fice processed or disposed <strong>of</strong> about 1,737 cases per<br />

month in 2004, not counting cases that were pending the court system. The district<br />
