DirectLink Mode<br />
Using the DirectLink Mode<br />
1) Enter the “DirectLink Mode” menu (see “Entering<br />
the Menu” on page 23).<br />
2) Press the ENTER soft key to enter the DirectLink<br />
mode. You will hear a confirm<strong>at</strong>ion tone, and<br />
“DirectLink Mode Complete” appears.<br />

3) To return back to the normal mode, exit the DirectLink mode. To exit the DirectLink mode,<br />
press the CANCEL soft key, then the OK soft key, or return the handset to the cradle.<br />
• If you select “Ringer<br />
Volume Off”, icon<br />
appears in the display.<br />
• If you press<br />
volume/▲ in Ringer<br />
Volume High or<br />
volume/▼ in Ringer<br />
Volume Off, you will<br />
hear a beep.<br />

1) Enter the “Handset Setup” menu, then the<br />
“Ringer Volume” submenu (see “Entering the Menu”<br />

2) Press volume/ ▲ or ▼ to adjust the ringer settings (Ringer Volume Off, Ringer<br />
Volume Low, or Ringer Volume High). You will hear a ringer or melody <strong>at</strong> the<br />
selected volume (if you select “Ringer Volume Off”, no ringer or melody will sound).<br />
3) Press the OK soft key. You will hear a confirm<strong>at</strong>ion tone.<br />
