Adjusting the speaker volume level<br />
When the base speaker is in use, press ringer/vol ▲ or ▼ on the base to adjust the<br />
volume. Press ringer/vol ▲ for louder or ringer/vol ▼ for softer.<br />
The numbers 1-10 appear on the base indic<strong>at</strong>ing the volume levels. 1 being the softest<br />
and 10 being the loudest.<br />
Using the menu mode<br />
The Menu mode allows you to set the following Answering System functions.<br />
• To scroll through the menu options, repe<strong>at</strong>edly press<br />
CLOCK/MENU on the base in the standby mode.<br />
CLOCK/MENU<br />
The system returns to standby after the last menu<br />
option. A confirm<strong>at</strong>ion tone sounds to indic<strong>at</strong>e the CLOCK/MENU<br />
standby mode.<br />
• If you press , the oper<strong>at</strong>ion is canceled.<br />

• If the system remains idle for about 5 seconds after the<br />
announcement, the system returns to standby.<br />

Once /SELECT or /SELECT is pressed, the idle<br />
time is extended to 10 seconds.<br />

• If there is an incoming call, the oper<strong>at</strong>ion is canceled.<br />
• When you have completed the setting, press to exit CLOCK/MENU<br />
the menu mode, or CLOCK/MENU to move to the next<br />
menu option.<br />
