a. Editing the Stored D<strong>at</strong>a<br />
1) When the phonebook loc<strong>at</strong>ion to be edited appears,<br />
press the EDIT soft key. “Store/Edit Name” appears.<br />
2) Follow the steps 4 to 8 under “Storing Phone<br />
Numbers, Names, Distinctive Rings, and Speed Dial”<br />
on page 39 to complete the editing oper<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
3) Press the OK soft key. You will hear a confirm<strong>at</strong>ion tone.<br />

b. Deleting the Stored D<strong>at</strong>a<br />
1) When the phonebook loc<strong>at</strong>ion to be deleted appears, press the DELETE soft key.<br />
“Delete Memory?” appears.<br />
2) Press volume/ ▲ to move the pointer to “Yes”.<br />
3) Press the OK soft key. You hear a confirm<strong>at</strong>ion tone. “Deleted!” appears in the display.<br />
The memory loc<strong>at</strong>ions in the handset are not limited to phone numbers. You can also<br />
store a group of numbers (up to 20 digits), th<strong>at</strong> you need to enter once your call<br />
connects. This is referred to as Chain Dialing.<br />
An example of this is a bank account number. Store a special number in the phonebook<br />
loc<strong>at</strong>ion (refer to “Storing Phone Numbers, Names, Distinctive Rings and Speed Dial”<br />
on page 38). Once you have called your bank, and when you are prompted to enter the<br />
account number, just as you do when viewing the phonebook loc<strong>at</strong>ion, view the special<br />
number, then press the DIAL soft key.<br />
