Van Data Control Screens The following information is displayed for all trailers listed on the LC screen: Data Field Explanation VAN NUMBER Van initials and number. LOAD POINT RMIS code for the facility loading the trailer. TIME AND DATE Load start time and date. QUE LOC One-character to fourcharacter code that indicates the physical location of the van at a facility (optional). Data Entry Vans appear in alphanumeric order. Locate the desired van by paging forward, press key or backward, press key. Functions and do not perform updates. Data Field Explanation QUE LOC Enter a queue location of the van (optional). Van Data Control Screens Data Field Explanation PLANNED DEST Van destination as entered on the AE screen. User may key a new destination code, if applicable. Press key to select a scheme or press key to move to the next data field. If key was pressed, key A under SEL on the scheme selection screen. Press key to accept the scheme. The system then returns to LC screen for further updates. LOAD COMPLETE Enter the time and date that loading of van was completed (24-hour clock). MJ LD Enter valid alphanumeric code to indicate the majority mail class and load preparation (see Appendix C). When first position of MJ LD is zero, the EIRS map is presented for update after key is pressed. See Appendix G for EIRS equipment codes. PERC LOAD Enter the number between 001 and 100 that indicates the percent of the van’s load. All three positions must be filled. Handbook PO-505 | May 2007 26
