Plant Load (PL Screen) Description. The plant load (PL) screen displays all vans in alphanumeric order being loaded at a non-BMC facility for intermodal dispatch. Trailers appearing on the PL screen have been updated from a non-BMC facility AE screen. The PL screen is used to perform all loading and dispatching functions for vans loaded at non-BMC facilities. Access (Update) Display the RMIS Data Entry/Van Control Functions (Menu/Criteria) (see Accessing the System, page 3) and complete the following data fields: Handbook PO-505 | May 2007 2
Van Data Control Screens Option 1 ■ ■ Data Field Command FUNCTION Key PL Press key. System returns a blank plant/ ASF load/dispatch screen. ENTER FACILITY CODE ENTER RAIL CARRIER CODE SKIP FOR ALL Key RMIS code for plant or ASF desired. Enter the code of the inbound supplier that furnished the van. If user wants all vans loading at the facility, leave these fields blank. Press key. PL screen is displayed (see Exhibit 10). Option 2 ■ Press key. Update Option Menu is displayed.
