Appendix D
CA — Change AVCC (Intermediate) Entries. Similar
to the CO code, the key identifies those fields
that can be changed. The screen is available to
controlling intermediate points (Chicago; St. Louis;
Memphis; and Washington, DC).
CD — Change Destination Entries. Similar to the
CO and CA codes, the key identifies those
fields that can be changed. The screen is available to
the controlling destination facility.
DR — Destination Reassignment. The DR code
allows a loaded van that has arrived at its final
destination to be reassigned to another destination.
This code, which can be used only after trailer
movement has been completed (available time and
date must have been entered), immediately displays
the van on the DU screen of the new final destination.
The screen is available to the controlling destination
facility.
CS — Change Status. The CS code allows the origin
facility to change the status of a van from an LC or
PL screen to an AE screen. Once a van has been
dispatched and is in a downline facilities screen, but
before any downline updates are made, selected
personnel at the last owning facility can regain
temporary control of that van and update certain
fields (e.g., van number, release date and time, and
carrier code).
