Report LAB440P4, RMIS Car Van Line
Movement
The purpose of the weekly LAB440P4 report is for
Postal Service management to review and ensure
that all movements during the specified week
have the correctly applied rates and that there are
no errors. Errors are to be corrected through the
St. Louis ASC. See MI PO-540-2007-1, Surface
Intermodal/Rail Payments Manual Processing.
Report LAB 0 P1, RMIS Van Inactivity
The LAB909P1 report lists the date of last activity
on all trailers. The purpose of this weekly report is
for Postal Service management to review trailers on
the report and determine if RMIS data entry is being
performed correctly and in a timely manner. Trailers
that have not been updated may wrongly accrue
detention charges if the trailer has been dispatched
or returned to the supplier. Data entry errors must be
corrected. Trailers showing no recent activity must be
investigated and promptly used to minimize detention
charges and return equipment in a timely manner to
the supplier.
