Različite kulture, običaji i tradicije su ono po čemu<br />
pojedino odredište nosimo u sjećanju. No, istinski<br />
će se putnici, kojima je slogan “bio sam, vidio sam”<br />
isprazna fraza i koji od putovanja žele više, složiti da<br />
se mnogi utisci i dojmovi stječu kroz okuse i mirise. Od<br />
kontinenta do kontinenta, od zemlje do zemlje, ali i od<br />
pokrajine do pokrajine umijeće kulinarstva razlikuju<br />
se, zbog čega je predstavljanje gastronomske ponude<br />
složen i nerijetko rizičan izazov. Svaki će putnik<br />
doći prvi put u neku zemlju pun znatiželje, raznih<br />
očekivanja. Izići iz zemlje može ravnodušan ili, pak,<br />
kao obožavatelj. Naravno, ugostiteljima i turističkim<br />
djelatnicima ovo drugo je svakako draže. Kako bi<br />
to postigla, Maistra je u <strong>Hotel</strong>u Adriatic realizirala<br />
program “Vikend svjetskih kuhinja”.<br />
Chefov izbor<br />
Već drugu godinu za redom Maistra gostima <strong>Rovinja</strong><br />
pruža prigodu da vikendom uživaju u meksičkoj,<br />
arapskoj, kineskoj, indijskoj, argentinskoj, japanskoj,<br />
azijskoj, švicarskoj te španjolskoj kuhinji. Iz ponude<br />
se potom odabere devet nacionalnih kuhinja koje<br />
se svojom posebnošću i tradicijom predstave sa<br />
četrdesetak jela u posebnom programu pod nazivom<br />
“Veličanstvenih 9“ . Ideja za takav program “šetnje“<br />
svjetskim gastronomskim stolovima potekla je od<br />
Maistrinog gastro tima, a recepte pripravlja Priska<br />
Thuring, šefica kuhinje <strong>Hotel</strong>a Adriatic. Uistinu,<br />
treba kušati meksičke specijalitete, od quesadillasa,<br />
burritosa, enchiladasa pa sve do jedinstvenih<br />
gastronomskih kombinacija kao što su sotirane kozice<br />
s kukuruzom, paprikom i pikantnom rižom ili pileća<br />
prsa na žaru s pireom od graha i umakom od kikirikija.<br />
Ako se zna da uz ovaj program <strong>Hotel</strong> Adriatic nudi i<br />
glazbene večeri, ponuda je i više nego primamljiva.<br />
I što reći? Najbolje je da dođete i vaše putovanje<br />
svijetom okusa, mirisa i glazbe može početi.<br />
Various cultures, customs and traditions contribute<br />
considerably to our memory of particular holiday<br />
destinations. But a true traveler who finds the motto<br />
“I came, I saw” an empty phrase and who likewise<br />
demands more from his travel will, however, agree<br />
that tastes and smells contribute to that memory as<br />
well. From one continent to another, from one person<br />
to another and from one region to another culinary art<br />
differs, which makes the presentation of gastronomic<br />
delights a complicated and risky challenge. Every<br />
single visitor to a particular country, if there for the<br />
first time, will arrive curious and full of expectations.<br />
He will leave the country either indifferent or as an<br />
ardent admirer. Naturally, caterers and tourist workers<br />
would certainly prefer the latter. In order to reach this<br />
goal last spring Maistra, drew up a “World Cuisines<br />
Weekend” program.<br />
Chef ’s Choice<br />
For the second year in a row, Maistra has offered<br />
their guests the opportunity to enjoy Mexican, Arabic,<br />
Chinese, Indian, Argentinean, Japanese, Asian, Swiss<br />
and Spanish cuisine. Nine national cuisines are then<br />
chosen and their specific quality and tradition are<br />
presented through about forty dishes within a special<br />
program called “The Magnificent 9”. The idea for such<br />
a program of “walking” around the world gastronomic<br />
tables was originated by Maistra’s gastro team,<br />
and Priska Thuring, the chef at the <strong>Hotel</strong> Adriatic<br />
prepares the recipes. Really, Mexican specialties,<br />
from quesadillas, burritos, enchiladas to unique<br />
gastronomic combinations such as sauté shrimps with<br />
corn, pepper and piquant rice, or grilled chicken breast<br />
with mashed potatoes with beans and peanut sauce<br />
should be tasted. If you take into consideration that<br />
this program is accompanied by music evenings in the<br />
<strong>Hotel</strong> Adriatic, the offer is more than alluring. What<br />
else can we say? It would be best if you came so that<br />
your journey through the world of tastes, scents and<br />
music can begin.<br />
