koji se brine za ponudu vina u novom,<br />
ekskluzivnom rovinjskom hotelu s pet<br />
zvjezdica – <strong>Monte</strong> <strong>Mulini</strong><br />

Emil Perdec iz Pule vrhunski je sommelier. Njegova<br />
obitelj se “oduvijek” bavila vinogradarstvom, tako je i<br />
Emil već od malih nogu dolazio u vinograd. Kao i mnogi<br />
drugi mladići nakon završene srednje škole sezonski<br />
je radio u turizmu. No, Emil je otišao korak dalje.<br />
Želio je postati vrhunski stručnjak pa se 1996. godine<br />
počeo obrazovati za sommeliera. Dugo naukovanje i<br />
praksa u poznatim hrvatskim restoranima urodili su<br />
priznanjima. Emil je 2004. i 2005. na natjecanjima za<br />
sommelierskoga prvaka Hrvatske osvojio prvo mjesto.<br />
Ponosan je Emil na svoj uspjeh postignut s puno truda<br />
i rada te posebno ističe kako je sve naučio u Hrvatskoj.<br />
Ekskluzivna vinska karta<br />
Karijeru vrhunskoga sommeliera Emil sada nastavlja u<br />
Maistri. Sa zadovoljstvom je prihvatio sudjelovanje u<br />
kreiranju eno-gastro ponude novoga Maistrinog hotela<br />
s pet zvjezdica <strong>Monte</strong> <strong>Mulini</strong> smatrajući da sa šefom<br />
kuhinje Tomislavom Gretićem i timom ljudi iz Maistre,<br />
predvođenima Viljamom Cvekom, može pridonijeti<br />
stvaranju izvrsnoga hrvatskog proizvoda. Specijalnost<br />
Emila Perdeca je sastavljanje “vinske karte” koja mora<br />
pratiti jelovnik. Kako je restoran u hotelu <strong>Monte</strong> <strong>Mulini</strong><br />
ekskluzivan, a zvat će se Wine Vault (Vinski sef), takva<br />
će biti i ponuda vina. Stoga je u pripremi vinska lista<br />
na kojoj će se naći 560 raznih etiketa. Kako bi gosti<br />
bili zadovoljni, puno truda se uložilo u edukaciju ljudi<br />
koji će u tom restoranu raditi i prezentirati vrhunska<br />
vina. “Hrvatska eno-gastro scena je iz godine u<br />
godinu sve bolja i bolja. Naravno, treba uvijek raditi<br />
na usavršavanju, posebice mlađih kadrova”, kaže Emil<br />
i poručuje gostima hotela <strong>Monte</strong> <strong>Mulini</strong> da se s punim<br />
povjerenjem prepuste uživanju u hotelskom restoranu.<br />
Emil Perdec from Pula is a top sommelier. His family<br />
has “always” been growing wine and so Emil started<br />
going into the vineyard since he was little. As many<br />
other young men after finishing high school, he went<br />
to work in tourism as a seasonal worker. But, Emil took<br />
a step further. He wanted to become a top expert,<br />
so in 1996 he began his education for a sommelier.<br />
Long apprenticeship and practice in famous Croatian<br />
restaurants resulted in many awards. In 2004 and<br />
2005 at the Croatian Sommelier Championship Emil<br />
won first place. He is proud of his success, which took<br />
a lot of effort and work, and he especially points out<br />
that he learned it all in Croatia.<br />
Exclusive Wine Card<br />
Emil continues with his career of a top sommelier in<br />
Maistra. He accepted with pleasure the participation<br />
in creating eno-gastro offer of the new Maistra’s fivestar<br />
hotel <strong>Monte</strong> <strong>Mulini</strong>, feeling that he can contribute<br />
to the creation of an excellent Croatian product<br />
together with the chef Tomislav Gretić and Maistra’s<br />
team headed by Viljam Cvek. Emil’s specialty is the<br />
composition of a wine card which must correspond<br />
with the menu. As the restaurant in the <strong>Monte</strong> <strong>Mulini</strong><br />
<strong>Hotel</strong> is exclusive, it will be called the Wine Vault, as<br />
such will be the wine offer. Therefore, a wine list is<br />
being prepared with 560 different labels. In order to<br />
keep the guests satisfied, a lot of effort was invested<br />
into the education of personnel who will work in the<br />
restaurant and present the best wines. “The Croatian<br />
eno-gastro offer is getting better every year. Of<br />
course, we should keep improving, especially the<br />
young personnel”, said Emil and he sent a message to<br />
the guests of the <strong>Monte</strong> <strong>Mulini</strong> to let themselves go<br />
and enjoy in the hotel restaurant.<br />
