Conserv tion Are nd should e m int ined,<br />

while others might e repl ced. In this w y new<br />

residenti l units could e cre ted with good<br />

qu lity outdoor sp ces, which re often l cking<br />

in current intensific tion developments. A mix of<br />

p rtments, m isonettes nd f mily dwellings<br />

could e cre ted which triples the current num er<br />

of residenti l units. As p rt of this ppro ch,<br />

f c de would e cre ted to provide cle r front<br />

to the r il line nd potenti l future tr m link which<br />

would e p rticul rly suit le <strong>for</strong> worksp ce<br />

premises. P rking could e ccommod ted in<br />

secure undercroft structure on ground floor level<br />

with g rdens nd pl y sp ce on the decks ove.<br />

As result of this ppro ch, the num er of ret il<br />
