The 2008 Pl nning Act h s ch nged the Loc l<br />

of ur n design fr mework documents nd<br />
f ster responses to opportunities s nd when<br />
they rise. This includes f ster procedures <strong>for</strong><br />
Supplement ry Pl nning Documents such s<br />
Development Briefs nd Site-Specific Alloc tions,<br />
which re more limited in scope nd gener lly<br />
t ke less time to prep re th n Are Action<br />
Pl ns. In loc lities like our c se studies, such<br />
pro ctive pl nning exercises could e undert ken<br />
to explore nd encour ge higher density<br />
ppro ches to future development. These could<br />
