When describing and analyzing some of the value chains, we also touched upon some<br />

related directions and products. The problems and solutions described in this analysis<br />

are also applicable to other products. For example, a lot of issues faced by beef farming<br />

are also characteristic for dairy farming, while problems listed when describing the<br />

indoor production of tomatoes are similar for cucumbers or other vegetables grown in<br />

greenhouses. Production of dried fruit (apricot value chain) also has similar nature to<br />

production of dried apple, cherries, pears or raisins.<br />
