Withinthis four volume set, Pritpal has pulled together anamazing 236 case studies on a wide variety of taxa from plant toinvertebrates to vertebrates from all over the world.Through these case studies and the recently released Guidelines for Reintroductionsand Other Conservation Translocations by the Reintroductionand Invasive Species Specialist Groups’ Task Force forMoving Plants and Animals for Conservation Purposes, the RSG hasproduced a valuable set of references for current and future translocationpractitioners as they strive to restore populations of species depleted bythe growing human footprint on our planet and finite resources.The Denver Zoological Foundation is proud to support this publication andother RSG efforts to improve re-introduction success throughout theglobe.
