Marriage InIslam“And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquilityin them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a peoplewho give thought?” [30:21]Allah created the bond of marriage between a man and a woman and this is the concept ofmarriage in Islam.“It isHe who has created you from a single person (Adam), and (Then) He has created from Him hiswife [Hawwa (Eve)], in order that He might enjoy the pleasure of living with her. When He hadsexual relation with her, she became pregnant and she carried it about lightly. Then when itbecame heavy, they both invoked Allâh, their Lord (saying): "If you give us a Sâlih (good InEvery aspect) child, we shall indeed be among the grateful." [7:189]The Prophet (SAW) said, “Whoever marries has completed half of his faith, so let him have fearof Allah in remaining half of religion.” [Bayhaqi]
