These include: Level of Participation; Length of Sentence; and <strong>Probation</strong> Conditions.1. Level of ParticipationThe levels of participation in <strong>Traditional</strong> <strong>Probation</strong> are reporting, non-reporting, or mail-in.The decision regarding the level of participation is often based on a participant’s need foraccountability. Reporting is the only level of participation for offenders sentenced to ISP.Reporting probationers are required to report to their <strong>Probation</strong> Officer, in person, a minimumof once a month. Non-reporting probationers are not typically required to meet with their<strong>Probation</strong> Officer unless the Officer feels a visit is warranted (e.g. offender is suspected ofviolating a condition of probation).
