Attachment JIntensive Supervision Probation ProgramsDepartment of Probation and Community CorrectionsYouthful Offender ProgramThis program is intended to target young habitual offenders between 17 and 24 years old. Theprogram was implemented in response to gang-related troubles in the County and continues to beutilized most frequently in the Holland area. As part of this program, Probation Officers conducthome visits approximately about 3 to 4 times a week to administer drug and alcohols tests, and toenforce curfews.Domestic Violence ProgramThis program is intended for offenders with a prior domestic violence conviction(s). Theoffender is generally sentenced directly to ISP without first reporting to jail. Programparticipants will typically report to their Probation Officer 2 to 4 times a week for drug andalcohol tests.Drunk Drivers ProgramThis program is intended for habitual drunk driving offenders. As part of this program,probationers are required to serve a minimum of 5 days in jail prior to being released into theprogram. Program participants will typically report to their Probation Officer 2 to 4 times aweek for drug and alcohol tests.
