Also, the community service I had to do did not help my community in anyway; I had to clean toilets and mop up after poker tournaments• I was forced to go to counseling even though I couldn’t afford it. They took my license away which also madeit hard to get to counseling. Before I was sentenced unfairly for an MIP, I was going to school and had a greatjob. I lost my license because of the sentence and was unable to get to school or work [school and work werein Grand Rapids and he lives in Grand Haven] so I had to drop out of school and I lost my job because Icouldn’t get there. Without a job, I couldn’t pay my fines or for the counseling that I was forced to attend.
