Traditional Probation & Intensive Supervision ... - Ottawa County

If an offender commits a probation violation or is convicted of a new offense, a Probation Officer willmake a recommendation to the sentencing judge as to whether jail time should be a sanction. In someinstances, Traditional probationers receive jail time and are then transferred to ISP. The following table(Table 15) illustrates whether jail 1 was imposed as a sanction for a probation violation.A note of interest is that one Traditional probationer and three ISP probationers committed threeprobation violations each but were never sentenced to serve jail-time.
