Tactics employed to accomplishthis include product exchanges, redistribution tablesand recycling centers.<strong>Programs</strong> to find a user for collectedpesticides must be well-planned and orchestrated,with good advertising, strong local leadership andon-site logistics management. Regulatory andliability issues may pose barriers to exchangeprograms when pesticides are transferred from oneowner to another. For example, many agriculturalproducts are restricted use products, which can onlybe distributed to applicators certified to use them.This means that before such products can beexchanged, someone has to check credentials at thecollection event.
