Summary of Connecticut Waste Pesticide Disposal ProgramConnecticut conducted amnesty pesticide collections for farmers in 1990, 1995 and 1996. Futureactivity will most likely be part of regular household hazardous waste collections after the Universal WasteRule and other related regulations are adopted.Connecticut has a regular household hazardous waste program with three fixed collection sitesserving 7, 12 and 18 communities and approximately 800,000 residents. These programs are regionallyshared and collections are for one day.
