ANDREW HAIM<br />

NG, So., 6-1, 304; Levittown<br />

2007: Haim was one of seven Bomber freshmen to earn a varsity<br />

letter, playing in five games as a back-up nose guard. He made a<br />

pair of tackles in the win at Springfield. Haim’s first career tackle<br />

for loss came in the Empire 8 victory at Utica. High School: A<br />

2007 graduate of Douglas MacArthur High School, Haim lettered<br />

twice and also earned letters in bowling, track & field and<br />

wrestling. Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of John Haim and<br />

Katherine Martinez.<br />

KEVIN HEINZELMAN<br />

OG, Sr., 6-3, 280; Queensbury<br />

2007: Heinzelman returned to action and earned his first letter as<br />

a back-up on the Bomber offensive line. He played in five games<br />

as a reserve guard. 2006: Heinzelman missed the season with an<br />

injury. 2005: Heinzelman was a reserve offensive lineman. He<br />

was named Ithaca’s Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week<br />

following the win over Alfred. High School: A 2005 graduate<br />

of Hudson Falls High School, Heinzelman was coached by his<br />

father, Thomas Heinzelman. He earned all-league and all-state honors. Personal: An<br />

education major, he is the son of Thomas and Linda Heinzelman. Both graduated from<br />

Ithaca in 1975. His father lettered twice as a Bomber linebacker and played in the 1974<br />

Stagg Bowl; his cousin Keith, a 1994 graduate, earned two letters as an Ithaca safety.<br />

PAUL HELM<br />

DE, So., 6-2, 221; Southborough, Mass.<br />

2007: Helm earned a letter after appearing in nine games as a special<br />

teams contributor and back-up defensive end. He recorded a<br />

career-best four tackles, including a 15-yard sack, and broke up a<br />

pass in the win at Utica. Helm made a pair of solo tackles in the<br />

Brockport victory. He was named Ithaca’s Hustler of the Week<br />

following the Hartwick game. High School: A 2007 graduate of<br />

Algonquin Regional High School, Helm was coached by Mike<br />

Vulcano. He earned league all-star honors and lettered three times. Helm also lettered<br />

in track & field and lacrosse. Personal: A student in the exploratory program, he is the<br />

son of John and April Helm.<br />

CHAD HERRING<br />

SS, Jr., 5-11, 189; Unadilla<br />

2007: In his first season with the Bombers, Herring lettered as a back-up in the Ithaca<br />

secondary and a special teams standout. He made a career-best six tackles in the win at<br />

Utica. Herring’s eight tackles in kick coverage ranked fourth on the team; in the win at<br />

Lycoming he forced a fumble on a Warrior kickoff return to set up a Bomber touchdown.<br />

He was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester. 2005-06: Herring<br />

attended Le Moyne <strong>College</strong>. High School: A 2005 graduate of Unatego High School,<br />

Herring was coached by Steven Leahy and John Mushtare. He helped Unatego to a Section<br />

IV title as a junior and earned Section IV all-star honors while serving as team captain as a<br />

senior. Personal: An exercise science major, he is the son of Tim and Sue Herring.<br />
