2.Supply and DemandPreliminary estimates in November 2010 show world oil demand decreasing by 0.6% or 0.5 million b/d from theprevious month levels to 87.2 million b/d - a level that is 2.6% or 2.2 million b/d higher than a year ago.Demand in OECD countries decreased by 1.4% or 0.6 million b/d, from the previous month to 46.1 Million b/d- a level that is 0.9 million b/d higher than a year ago, Non-OECD countries demand increased by 0.3% or 100thousand b/d from their previous month level to 41.1 million b/d representing an increase of 1.4 million b/d fromtheir last year level.On the supply side, estimates show that world oil supplies for November 2010 were up by 0.1% or 100 thousandb/d from the previous month level to 88.4 million b/d , a level that is 1.7 million b/d (2%) higher than a yearago.In November 2010, OPEC crude oil and NGLs/condensates total supplies were down by 0.5 million b/d fromprevious month level to 34.9 million b/d, a level that is 100 thousand b/d higher than a year ago.Preliminary estimates show that Non-OPEC supplies increased by 0.6 million b/d or 1.2% to average 51.0 millionb/d.Preliminary estimates of the supply and demand for November 2010 reveal a surplus of 1.2 million b/dcompared to a surplus of 0.6 mb/d and 1.8 mb/d in November 2009 and October 2010 respectively, as shownin table -2 and figure - 6.
