Trigger Settings [TRIGGER]Selecting the Pad Type[F1 (BANK)]To be sure the TD-12 accurately receives signals sent from thepads, select the trigger type (the type of pads being used) foreach trigger input.Trigger TypeA trigger type is a group of trigger settings with valuesoptimally adjusted for a particular pad. Indications such as“KD85,” “PD85,” or “VH11,” etc. in the above displaycorrespond to this. When you select a trigger type for aconnected pad, each of the parameters is set to the mostappropriate values for that pad, allowing you to play itwithout encountering problems with the settings. Only whenfactors unrelated to the selection of the proper trigger typeprevent you from getting good results in performance shouldyou fine-tune the individual parameters for the pad you areusing.Trigger BankTrigger Banks allow you to store the 15 trigger settings as asingle unit of information. The large number at the left edge ofthe above display is the Trigger Bank number. Move thecursor to this area to select the Trigger Bank.1.
