<strong>Guidance</strong> concerning <strong>Air</strong> Navigation in and above the <strong>NAT</strong> <strong>MNPS</strong>A ATTACHMENT 6Transition PeriodsDiagram 2The time period between one set of OTS expiring and another set commencing is known as the transitionperiod. The following procedures are in place to accommodate the majority of aircraft:Basic Principles:All times relate to 30W.OTS Transition rules apply between 0801 to 1129UTC and 1901 to 0059UTC. During these times flightlevels shall be applied in accordance with direction of flight other than as stated below.General principles:Westbound traffic crossing 30W, 2230 to 0059UTC, shall remain clear of the incoming OTS and shall notuse delegated ODLs (FL360 and FL380). After 2230, the OTS and ODLs (F360 and F380) are released to<strong>NAT</strong> <strong>Doc</strong> <strong>007</strong> 124 Edition 2010
