Play Space.The Play Spaces listed below are designated areas, with varied facilityprovision.The classification details are intended to provide direction for the planning andprovision of each property.Devonport City Council Public Open Space Standards and Technical Notesprovides information on Levels of Service.Property Master Plans will be produced to reflect the properties classificationand hence guide future planning of the individual area.Neighbourhood Play Spaces:• Madden Street.• Victoria Street Reserve.Sub Region Play Spaces:• Devonport Recreation Centre.Region Play Spaces:• Bluff Road Coastal Reserve.Public Open Space.The public open spaces detailed in the following tables are classified as perPART B: Public Open Space Classification System. Consultation with same isrequired to get an understanding of the various public open spaces and thereclassification.Public Open Space has been classified by Catchment, Function andLandscape Character.In instances where it has not been classified, it has been allocated to on eofthe following categories• Land yet to be owned and maintained by Council due to a recentsubdivision;• Classification to be determined by Council’s Special Projects Team;• Owned by the Crown and recommended for purchase by Council;PART D: PRECINCT CHARACTER PROFILES & OBJECTIVES 20
