New recurrent resources will be allocated to strengthen support forthe youth-at-risk and young offenders as well as to provide assistance to thedeprived children and youth to promote their development and integration intothe community. In particular, the new resources to be made available for theservices for Young Night Drifters and the Community Support Services Schemewill enhance their capacity to address the changing needs of the youth-at-riskand young offenders, including the need for parent education and counsellingon various developmental issues and the cultivation of positive civic values.EMBParent education3.22 EMB has set up the Committee on Home-School Co-operation(CHSC) for the promotion of parent education.
