Guest lunch speaker, Irena Soltys,Chairperson of the Committeeagainst Human Trafficking, underscoredthe efforts of Canadiancharity, Children of Chornobyl(Help Us Help the Children andNove Pokolinya), in making potentialvictims in Ukraine awareof the dangers of ‘human trafficking’as well as in raising awarenessamong donors about thegrave international situation. Sheencouraged Congress participantsto understand that the fundamentalnurturing roles of woman andmother in Ukraine have been affecteddrastically by expandingsocial exploitation and their ownvictimization due to poor ecoheartedness,forgiving, hospitality,conviction, diligence, responsibility,compassion and tolerance.One group just said Love. Ifwe have Love, we have all of theabove. When asked by the Scribeswhich was the first commandmentof all, Jesus Christ answered:“The first commandmentof all is, ‘…The Lord our God isone God; And thou shalt love theLord thy God with thy wholeheart, and with thy whole soul,and with thy whole mind, and withthy whole strength.’ This is thefirst commandment.
