� Downstream of the cylinder, in the plane � = 180°, a similar observation as in the<br />

plane � = 90° can be observed. The agreement between the computed and measured<br />

vorticities is only shown by the negative fields along the bottom. Above the bed,<br />

z > 1 [cm], there is almost nothing can be observed. Some scattered positive<br />

vorticities shown by the measured values are certainly due to the velocitiy data<br />

irregularities as can be seen in the vector plot (see Fig. 5.11).<br />
