The table shows the maximum number of conducters depending on the cable size and pennitted
current for the above mentioned enclosure.
"Conductor" means every conductor entering the enclosure and every internal connecting
conductor. Any cross connections or earth terminals are not counted.

Maximum physical terminal content depends on the terminal dimension and
the maximum permissible cable size used.
Maximum permissib1e rated current of the applied terminals and cabJes must be laken
into account. Cables used intemaUy must be suitable for a temperature between 70° and 80°C.
For larger cables, the number of conductors must be advised by the manufacturer ( with Power
Dissipation Test Report ).
When using the table above, de-rating factors er nominal rated currents in accordance with
IEC 439 should be used.
Different types of terminals can be used together by utilising the tabular values proportionaUy.
