Common Operations > Loading PaperLoading Paper in the CassettesThe standard cassette will each hold plain paper, recycled paper or color paper. The standard cassette holds up to 250sheets of plain paper (80 g/m²).The following paper sizes are supported: A4, A5, A6, B5, Legal, Letter, Other (Folio, Oficio II, Executive, Statement,216 × 340mm, 16K, Envelope C5 and ISO B5)NOTEYou should not use inkjet printer paper or any paper with a special surface coating. (Such paper may cause paperjams or other faults.)For clearer and brighter color copies, use the special color paper.When using media types other than plain paper (such as recycled or colored paper), always specify the media typesetting. (Refer to Media Type on page 9-7) The cassettes can hold paper with weights up to 163 g/m².If the machine will not be used for a prolonged period, protect all paper from humidity by removing it from thecassettes and sealing it in the paper storage bag.1Adjust the cassette size.1IMPORTANTWhen pulling the cassette out of the machine, ensure it is supported and does not fall out.2Adjust the cassette size to reflect the size of paper being loaded.
