<strong>Public</strong> <strong>Utilities</strong> <strong>Commission</strong> <strong>Annual</strong> Report <strong>2004</strong>-<strong>05</strong>State of Hawaii Page 33manufacturers, wholesalers, or jobbers must furnish to the <strong>Commission</strong> to make determinationson zone price adjustments; (7) zone price adjustments to the maximum pre-tax wholesale regularunleaded, mid-grade, and premium gasoline prices and the effect, impact, and appropriatenesson a zone by zone basis; (8) the types of documents, data, and information necessary for the<strong>Commission</strong> to determine whether the manufacturer, wholesaler, or jobber is complying with anyrequirement imposed or rule adopted; and (9) any further adjustments necessary to establishmaximum pre-tax wholesale gasoline prices that reflect and correlate with competitive marketconditions.The parties to this proceeding include Chevron, Tesoro, Shell Oil Company, HawaiiPetroleum Marketers Association and Consumer Advocate. In April 20<strong>05</strong>, the <strong>Commission</strong>issued a report prepared by ICF Consulting (“ICF”), professional consultants retained by the<strong>Commission</strong> to assist in its investigation. The <strong>Commission</strong> issued its decision in this proceedingin Fiscal <strong>Year</strong> 20<strong>05</strong>-06. 13I. DOCKET PROCEEDINGS.At the beginning of the Fiscal <strong>Year</strong>, 446 pending dockets were carried over from prioryears, and 371 new dockets were opened during the Fiscal <strong>Year</strong>. Thus, during the Fiscal <strong>Year</strong>, atotal of 817 dockets were before the <strong>Commission</strong> for review and consideration. Of the817 dockets, 575 or approximately 70 per cent of the dockets were completed by the end of theFiscal <strong>Year</strong> (June 30, 20<strong>05</strong>).At the end of the Fiscal <strong>Year</strong>, 242 dockets were pending, including 76 dockets carriedover from years prior to the Fiscal <strong>Year</strong> and 166 dockets that were opened during the Fiscal <strong>Year</strong>.years.The following table summarizes the <strong>Commission</strong>’s dockets over the past three (3) fiscal13 Decision and Order No. 21952, filed on August 1, 20<strong>05</strong>, in Docket No. <strong>05</strong>-0002.
