Drake Software User’s ManualOnline EF DatabaseTools94x ReportsThree functions are available from the Tools tab: Run 94x Report; Download ABCVoice Files; and Generate Contact List.If you use Drake’s Client Write-Up to e-file 940, 941, and 944 reports and returns, theonline EF database allows you to run reports on those clients. To run a report:1. From the online EF database toolbar, click Tools.2. Click Run 94x Report and choose the Tax Period End Date.3. Enter the EIN, or leave the text box blank to include all 94x returns in the report.4. Remove a check mark to exclude 940s, 941s, or 944s. (All three items areincluded by default.)5. From the Status drop list, choose one of the following status options:• % — Include all returns in report• A — Include only returns with “A” (accepted) acks• P — Include only returns with “P” (pending) acks• R — Include only returns with “R” (rejected) acks• S — This status not active for these reports6. Click Submit.ABC VoiceFilesContact ListsAlso on the Tools tab, the option to Download ABC Voice File applies only to preparersusing the ABC Voice File tool. For more information, call Versicom at (937) 438-3700.To build lists containing contact information on your clients:1. From the online EF database toolbar, click Tools.2. Click Generate Contact List.3. Enter report criteria by selecting or clearing the check boxes.4. To further restrict the results, enter start and end dates to search.5. Click Run Report.6. (optional) To export the report into an Excel file, click the Excel icon. You areasked whether you want to open or save the file. Click Open or Save as desired.
