Click Macro Security and select Medium, then clickOK._NOTEIn Microsoft Vista, click the Office button in the upper left and selectExcel Options at the bottom of the window. Next, select TrustCenter from the list at left and click Trust Center Settings. SelectMacro Settings, then choose Disable all macros with notification.Click OK.• Disable Auto Balance — When auto-balance is disabled, the program is preventedfrom automatically adjusting the year-end retained earnings or capitalamounts, thus allowing you to see any discrepancies in the balance sheet. The exampleabove is of the Force Schedule L box for an 1120 return.• Check for Detail Worksheets — The trial balance import allows only thosedetail worksheets required by the IRS. Check updated returns for detail(CTRL+W) worksheets that are not required. For example, the IRS does notrequire a detail worksheet for the Gross receipts field on screen 3; if a return hasa detail worksheet for that field, the trial balance will not import correctly into thereturn.
