This cover has an external oil fitting for pressure oil and is in the samephysical location as the original 1936-'48 generator gear covers. This fitting can be usedto provide oil to the top end of the KN-Kone engine or be used in any custom applicationwhere pressure oil is needed. Like our other alternator engine gearcovers, this cover hasan internal breather passage required for engines that have the crankcase breather routeddirectly out of the crankcase. 1970-’72 engines can be updated to use this cover throughsimple crankcase modification.
